E agora que estou oficialmente de férias (obrigado, muito obrigado) e durante uns tempos longe da criação, stress e trabalho contínuo, longe da arquitectura como o meu dia-a-dia, aproveito para continuar a vivê-la por usar este tempo livre a pesquisar sites e mais sites. Encontrada no excelente blog Arquitectura Hoje, esta casa chamou-me a atenção, principalmente pela originalidade da ideia (uma ponte-casa), mas também por toda a sua auto-sustentabilidade e respeito pelo envolvente explicados no seguinte texto, presente no site:
"Winter sun through the north facing windows heats the black concrete floor for reradiaiton at night. A wood combustion heater supplements the natural passive heating. Double glazing to the living area helps retain the heat. Perforated steel louvres shade the north windows in summer. The narrow plan form allows cross ventilation and is combined with ceiling fans to provide sufficient cooling for summer comfort.
